When we first got to the hotel it is down a little alley through some closed off buildings which looked a little shady but once you get to the hotel there are two security guards who were really friendly and smiled every time they saw us. Staff was very nice, spoke good english, close to Khaosan road (across the street, 5min walk) but not in the midst of it which was really nice. There are three 711s within walking distance (5min). Bus stop right in front of the hotel but no subway close by. Buses were cheap and easy to navigate with google maps. We took the S1 bus from the bkk airport to literally in front of the hotel, the stop is called “after democracy monument” and it only cost 30 baht a person. This is not ideal if you have more than a backpack. Bus has no luggage space, it is just a city bus. Leaving we opted for the hotel’s transportation option since the buses are not punctual. We got a great deal on the private Maeklong/Damnoen tour including the boat through the hotel. It was by far the cheapest offer we found. We wish we tried some of their other advertised tours in the lobby. Breakfast was plentiful and also had a fresh egg/omelette station. Shower had very good pressure and was hot. Bed was very comfortable. View from the balcony was beautiful! Would definitely stay again!

Loved everything about this place. We stayed here with 1 year old twins, so we have lots going on. The staff was exceptional and very accommodating at ever step of the way. This was our first stop on a 2 month trip through Thailand and everyone made our kids and us feel super welcome. While we were waiting for check in we got to enjoy the pool and once the room was ready there were already two cribs set up. The room was spacious enough for the four of us, even though it was just a 2p room. Every morning at breakfast, the staff was very helpful and friendly. There were two high chairs for our kids, and even plastic plates and cups for them to use. The spread was nice. Every day a little different and good mix between western and Thai dishes. The whole place seemed recently renovated including a nice public pool area, the public facilities like dining room etc., as well as the room, including a beautiful bathroom with Portuguese tiles. The pool is located such that there's lots of shade, so easy to avoid the sun and sunburns! Unlimited pool towels available at the pool, so never an issue of running out. The location is great too, easy to catch a grab anywhere in the city, or walk two blocks to Kaosan Road. The street itself is really quiet, no drunk ppl, no parties, and no traffic.

Nicely situated - away from all the craziness of Khao San ... yet right there. Room was comfortable, bed was great (beware of the frame corners tho - they can take your knee out.) Breakfast was good/decent (although I don't understand spaghetti and 'carbonara' as a breakfast option - and well, half the offerings were dinner or lunch food (mashed potatoes?) which is typical in S.E.A). Staff super friendly. We had an ample sized balcony, lots of tv channels if your chilling. Wi-Fi was strong as there's a router in every room. A.C worked, water pressure strong. Some may find the location sketchy ... it's behind an abandoned strip of buildings - you have to walk by the homeless sleeping there if you walk home late at night - but no issues. There's a 7-11 about 4 minutes away for 'supplies'.

The staff is exceptionally nice and ready to help. The premises are great, and you will find anything you need in your room - from a bath robe and slippers to shaving tools and a toothbrush and a toothpaste. The bed is one of the most comfortable ones I've seen so far. The breakfast included is a 5 stars as well, and the most important thing for a traveler in Bangkok, it is in the middle of Downtown and if you want to go sightseeing, all most famous points of interest to see can be reached even by walking. Another important thing to know for a first-time visitor to Bangkok - the A4 bus stop from and to Don Mueang International Airport (DMK) is across the boulevard. Highly recommend the hotel! Thank you for the hospitality!

The breakfast was excellent. The staff were great (one inhospitable receptionist but all of the remaining staff were exceptionally welcoming and very helpful). I am particularly grateful to the security guards and to the hotel porter who watched out for my son (who had been injured and was at the hotel to recuperate following surgery). The pool was lovely and I had it to myself for most of the week. The beds were really comfy and it was very clean. The bathroom was lovely. It's very close to the Khaosan Road and within walking distance to Wat Pho (Reclining Buddha - worth seeing). It was excellent value for money
